The management of GEOHIDROTERV Kft is committed to high quality. All its decisions exceptionally support the fulfilment of quality requirements, takes an active role in the operation and development of quality control system.
All our Company activities focus on our Customers. Our primary target is the complete satisfaction of our Customers’ demands and in superior quality – at the same time meeting legal, authority and standard requirements concerning quality as well as environment protection. For this end our Company operates such an efficient Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system which ensures that the products of the Company (designs, impact studies, expertise, constructed facilities, etc.) are of top quality, the amount of pollutants emitted to the environment is minimized or emission is prevented, and the ERP is continuously being developed.
The maintenance and development of outstanding quality services provided by the GEOHIDROTERV Kft have been assisted by quality control systems – certified by ISO 9001:2009 and the MSZ EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standards – since 1998 and in 2007 they were complemented with the implementation and introduction of the environment-focused ISO 14001:2005 standard. The operation and efficiency of the thus created integrated quality- and environment-focused ERP has already been verified by the independent audit conducted by the *DIGART International Ltd*. The devised system ensures our commitment to quality and environment and provides opportunities for continuous development and improvement in order to enhance the efficiency of the Company.
Apart from our certified ERP’s we also possess a GEOMONITORING geophysical monitoring control system reviewed and approved by the Environmental Protection and Water Management Research Institute (VITUKI Kht.). This system can primarily be applied for the monitoring of plastic sheet insulation of landfills but can also be used for the monitoring of foils used for the insulation of groundwork, dams, channels and reservoirs or tanks.
The measurement method of the applied system relies upon the principle that the insulation foil or sheet is to be regarded as electric insulation material and it prevents conducting electricity between the material above and the environment below the foil.
The application of this method helps in defining and identifying possible failures (holes, cracks, welding bead problems) caused during production or installation.
The system is composed of three major parts:
- sensor network
- geo-electric geophysical methods and tools
- computer processing, assessing and displaying software
